1) Make Sure That You Have All The Materials Needed.

Basically, all you need to start is Termidor solution products, a drill hammer with an 18-inch bit, gallons of water, concrete compound, a funnel, and a vacuum cleaner.

The vacuum cleaner will be utilized to clear the concrete dust from the holes you drilled.

The Termidor can be purchased from stores selling termiticides or insecticides. Sometimes, Termidor can also be found in hardware shops.

The better way to buy the materials is through Amazon and eBay from which you just need to order online and wait for them to be delivered straight to your door. As for the drill hammer, if you don’t own one, you can rent one to save on costs.

You can purchase the concrete compound from any hardware or construction supply store.

2) Prepare the Areas in Your Home Where You Are Going to Apply the Termidor Solution.

This second step will involve drilling holes through concrete slabs as well as digging shallow trenches around your house. When drilling, make sure that the holes are separated from each other by a space of 12 inches.

The holes should also be about 2 to 4 inches away from the wall of your home. This is because if you drill too near the wall, you might cause unnecessary damage to the structure of your house, which obviously nobody wants.

Also remember to drill areas in which termites are strongly activated around your house. Always follow the drill measurements of 12 inches apart and 2 to 4 inches away from the wall.

As to the trenches outside of your home, you should dig these 2 to 4 inches from the structure of your home and about 4 to 6 inches deep. Mark the areas where you can see termite activity as these will require stronger Termidor solutions.

3) Mix the Termidor Concentrate That You Are Going to Apply to The Drilled Holes and Dug Trenches.

You have three options when mixing the solutions. You can use the .06%, .09%, or the .125% solution.

The strongest 125% should be applied on areas where you actually saw termite activity. The .06 and .09 solutions are used for all other areas.

For instructions on how to mix these solutions with water, refer to the video that accompanies this article.

4) Pour and Apply the Termidor Solution.

When pouring the solution liquid on the trenches you dug, you should use 4 gallons per 10 linear feet which helps the solution to be spread over as much ground as possible.

When pouring the Termidor on the drilled holes, a funnel becomes handy and must be taken use of.

After applying the solution on the trenches, recover them with trenched soil. As to the drilled holes inside and outside of your home, you have to recover them with concrete compound.
